SMS Testing
SMS testing compares what was sent with what arrives in a real device inbox, helping validate sender IDs, message content, and delivery across telecom routes.
Why it matters
Messages should arrive as intended
Evidence from real inboxes can help uncover altered sender details, changed content, and delivery failures that occur between an origin and a recipient's carrier.
Operator requirements
- An active Unetwork App license
- SMS Testing enabled when available
- A SIM or eSIM that can receive standard text messages
- An online device with access to its normal SMS inbox
How it works
From opt-in to completion
Enable SMS Testing
Select SMS Testing in the app's Tasks area and opt in when it is available to you.
Receive the test message
An eligible message arrives in your standard inbox with sender and content details.
Review what arrived
Compare the sender identity and message content with the information requested by the app.
Report the result
Submit the required inbox evidence so the network can validate the test.
Good to know
Before you participate
- Keep notifications on so you can respond within the task window.
- Traffic is demand-driven and may be limited in some countries or on some carriers.
- Follow the in-app reporting instructions; incomplete evidence may not qualify.
Task availability and rewards are not guaranteed. Current in-app instructions and program terms take priority because eligibility, demand, and beta rules can change.
