Unetwork App Task
Telemetry
Telemetry tasks collect eligible service measurements from real phones so network customers can understand how connectivity performs outside a lab.
Why it matters
Real devices reveal real network conditions
Measurements from everyday phones provide a view of service quality across different locations, connections, and device conditions. That distributed signal can help identify performance gaps that controlled testing may miss.
Operator requirements
- An active Unetwork App license
- Task participation enabled in the app
- A real device that can remain powered on and connected
- Background access allowed where your device supports it
How it works
From opt-in to completion
Enable participation
Keep your license active and allow eligible task participation in the Unetwork App.
Keep the device ready
Leave the app signed in and the phone online so it can be matched with available demand.
Complete measurements
When eligible work is available, the app collects supported technical network measurements.
Receive eligible rewards
Valid activity contributes to rewards according to current network demand and program rules.
Good to know
Before you participate
- Use a physical phone rather than an emulator or simulated device.
- Avoid placing many devices on one connection, which can make measurements redundant.
- Availability varies by location, device, connection quality, and customer demand.
Task availability and rewards are not guaranteed. Current in-app instructions and program terms take priority because eligibility, demand, and beta rules can change.
